A tiny bit of freedom

I am trying to get better on letting go a little bit with the girls. I am in no way one of those moms who run to their kids when they scrape their knee. In fact I am the opposite. I tell them to get up dust it off and get back on the bike or whatever it is. No crying, you're fine! But I do hate to see them wonder too far from me. I am  a TINY bit paranoid about that. I don't know why, just am! But as of late I have been letting the girls ride their bikes around the street. I stand in the middle of the street to watch as they make their way back. They love doing this and it helps me a little bit. We need to work on looking where we are going. Especially Elly...oh my that girl! She doesn't look at the driveway. I am waiting for the day that she doesn't hear me say "Elly WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING" Really now... I am going to be in E.R. one day with that girl. LORD HELP ME!! She does it all with a evil little smile and a devilish giggle! Oh yes she is her mothers daughter! haha I can't deny her!

Emma-Leigh, that little girl of mine is getting so brave and so good on her bike. She stands up and rides it. She jumps off of it. She is a little devil on that thing. A neighbor down the street has 2 little boys and they do BMX riding. The mom even said Emmy would be so good at that. I hate to admit I think she is right. I just wonder if she would like it! I guess maybe in a year or 2 we can try it and see if she likes it. If so maybe she will be good at it. She is so excited to get off the training wheels. She wants to be grown up and show the big kids who have them how it is done. Ahhh I can't take this!! My girls are growing up so fast!!

Molly is really starting to take off. Her little arms are lowered now as she walks *sad face* no more E.T.!! She is starting to run... OH GOD IM IN TROUBLE! She is really living up to her hair when she was born. She still has that red head attitude. YES, BIIIIG trouble! She is a crack up! She definitely loves to do whatever big sisters are doing. I think she forgets how little she is compared to them. I hope when she gets a tad bigger, they can be oh so close.

No one could have prepared me to be a mother. Yes, I listened to everyone's stories and just you waits. But no one can ever explain how special it is to be a mommy. Not only a mommy to one child. But to be able to be a mommy to my 3. I am beyond ecstatic, my heart over flows with love every moment. Those smiles, blue eyes and I love you mommy's get me every time. I wish I could turn back the clock and enjoy every moment all over again.

Lady Bug oh Lady bug

Well the time has come and passed all to quickly. I can not believe my baby is already 1!!! When did that happen? I think this time around it wasn't just exciting. It was also so sad for me as her mother. I believe she is my last baby...which means no more 1st birthday parties! =( Makes me so sad this year has flown by. The first weeks crept by so slow. Maybe it was because of all the pain I was in. Or maybe it was because of the lack of sleep, I just wanted a couple of hours of solid sleep. Or maybe it is because of everything. Plus, worrying if I was giving Emma-Leigh and Elly enough time with mommy! Whatever it was the first 2-3 weeks were so slow. But ummm hmmm where did the rest of the weeks go? The sad fact is true... the first child you have a camera in front of their every move and action. The second child there are less pics... you are busy with both... the 3rd child aahhhh ahhahahaaha well you are lucky you remember the camera half the time! Isn't that so sad! But I hope I have enough pictures that have captured all the fun and exciting...and the not so exciting moments so far. So my Molly girl is 1! The morning of her birthday which was also party day, we went in singing happy birthday. She LOVED every moment of that. She would clap and get all excited! I know the picture doesn't show it. But she did love it! I think we overwhelmed her a tad in the beginning!

I planned a ladybug party for her. The traditional red and black with bits of white here and there. It was a lot of fun to plan as it was challenging. Now days everything lady bug is all different colors... bleh! So having to come up with different ideas and putting twist on things. That was a lot of fun. First I made a balloon wreath. Black, red, and white. That was a bunch of fun. I used a straw wreath and kept the plastic on it. Greening pins and TONS of balloons. Put the pin in the middle of the balloon...then stick it on the wreath.. SUPER CUTE! If I say so myself. =)

Then came the little things around the house. From the suckers to the licorice to the flowers and balloons. If you have even been or seen one of my parties...you know I LOVE balloons. What is a birthday with out balloons? LOOVEEE them! My hubby was great and took a 4x4 piece of wood and drilled holes into it, painted it and did a great job. I used this to put suckers on display. The suckers were from oriental trading and came with custom stickers. M for molly and under it said Happy Bday Lil Lady! A nice little touch and of course red, black and white! =) I tied ribbon around the block of wood also to dress it up a tad! =)

Oh the Lady Bug cake. First off I knew when I asked someone to take my camera and take pics of EVERYTHING... I knew deep down that was a mistake! WHAT WAS I THINKING?? ugh live and learn right! Am I the only person that gets at least 3 shots of my cakes!? Front, back and overhead! Apparently! Sooo here is the cake. Everything is edible! The large lady bug is a 1/2 ball pan with fondant with black licorice antenna. The little lady bugs are fondant. This was the first time I worked with fondant. It was a lot easier than I thought and was kinda fun. Plus everyone said it was yummy so that helps! =) The little lady bugs were "buzzing" around. Ah it was soo soo cute!

Molly's smash cake was a cute little thing too! Same as the main cake, had little lady bugs buzzing around. I painted a candle for her. I just couldn't find the candle I wanted. So why not make it!? Now I have what I want! Plus that was super easy and way cheaper. I found some online that wanted 9 (not including shipping) for a number 1 candle... REALLY??? I made mine for under 3!! Yep... thats the great thing about being creative! =)

For food we had croissant sandwiches for adults, PB&J's for kiddos, potato salad and fruit. Of course I had to rename all the food!! Thanks to my neighbor and her pretty hand writing we brought it together. She wrote them. I decorated them. I think they were super cute.

The kiddos did all kinds of buggy things. We planted flower seeds. I painted flower pots and put their names on them. They planted the seeds and took them home as part of their favors. We colored lady bug stands and some more buggy things. Then we did a bug hunt. This was suppose to be outside. But of course the weather had to be cold and windy. Just plain ol yucky. That put a damper on my day!! So we brought it inside and and the kiddos had magnify glass and had to "search" for bugs. They had a blast doing this. Now they would have had 1000000000x more fun doing it in the grass.... thanks mother nature!! =P

More of the favors, sugar cookies I made and decorated.

Then it was cake and gift time. Molly took her sweet time eating her cake. She never even  broke the actual cake. She only ate frosting. Now thats my girl! haha She loved it. She ate it for a while. But you wouldn't think so when she was done. Hardly anything was gone! haha I love that girl. So prissy!

Again, Thank you to everyone who came to her party. Everyone who came means so much to us and has such a special place in my heart. ((HUGS)) Molly enjoyed your company as well.

Birthdays,Christmas, New Years and Check ups!

Here it is... It has been a while yet again since I last blogged. I have got to get back on track here. UGH I know I will kick myself one day for not taking time out to do it more often. Anyways a bit of a catch up. Emma-Leigh is now 4...F-O-U-R!!!!! aahhhh Where and when did my baby get sooo big!? I can not believe it! She wanted a tea party for her birthday. Boy oh boy was that ever fun to put together. Her and I had a special mommy and me day together as Gramma watched Elly and Molly. It was so nice to spend time with just her. She was able to help pick out and decide on what kind things she wanted at her party. We had fun shopping for all the jewelry, favors, tea cups *real ones*, purses and can't forget the boas! We ordered chair covers with lavender ribbons and pink table cloths. We had pearl pink and lavender balloons everywhere. Specially made tea cakes, tea sandwiches and of course "tea" but what little girl likes real tea? We had pink lemonade! The food table consisted of peanut butter and jelly and plain jelly tea sandwiches. Fruit, cheese and crackers for the adults. Lemonade and water for everyone to drink. All the girls came all dressed and ready for dress up. After they dressed up in hats, gloves, necklaces, rings, bracelets and boas they sat at the tables and were served as if they were royalty! They were in heaven. Pinkies up ladies! They loved every moment they were waited on. After they were done eating we played "toss the tea bag" then the classic musical chairs to the song "I'm a little teapot" oh boy was that ever fun. We then sat down at the tables and everyone painted their own tiny tea cup. As those were left to dry we went back to have cake. They all had their very own tea cakes. Of course each one had a delicate little flower on top. The girls really enjoyed this! All the girls went home with their own tea cup and saucer. All the jewelry, boa, gloves and hats. Along with a purse(different one for everyone) each purse had a lipstick and nail polish. I believe they all left very very happy!!

Happy birthday to my little princess!

So after Emmy's party it is time for Christmas. What a busy busy month it is! We had a wonderful Christmas here at home. The girls got up bright and early and were so so excited Santa came. We had some moments where we didn't think he was going to show up! haha They were pleasantly surprised with everything they received. Then it was off to Gramma's house we go. The traditional watch everyone open gifts and have a big breakfast together. Yum and fun.  Nothing like watching cousins play and hang out together. After breakfast we had to hurry home to hurry and shower, get everyone dressed and ready to go down to O.C. finally got down their to Dominick's family and had a little Christmas dinner with them. Opened gifts and visited a little more then off we go to get home.

Happy New Year... wow really ALREADY?? oook here we are. The girls and I went shopping with Gramma. That is always fun and never dull. We love love love to spend time with her. We then came home and did our normal thing in our house. Girls in bed by 730 and hubby and I watched a movie. I believe we even went to bed before midnight. haha I think we are getting old or it just isn't the same or matter as much to stay up late. Especially when you have 3 little girls who are ready to start their giggly day off at 6 am! =)

So now we are closing the first month of 2011! WOW that went too fast. I am starting to plan Molly's first birthday! AHHHH I can not do this anymore! How come they grow up so so so soooo fast!? She will be 8 months here in a couple days and she still has no teeth and is not crawling. I believe she is doing this to get me. She will probably do it all in a weeks time. With a smile too. I know she will.

Elly girl is getting excited for her birthday which is MONTHS away but I have to start early which makes them so excited and happy. She thinks her birthday is next week! haha Oh to be little again.

All three girls had check-up in the past couple weeks. Emma-Leigh is right on track and is as smart as can be the Doctor said, yeah I know like he had to tell me that! lol She weighs in at 32 pounds and almost 40 inches! WOWZERS! Elly is also on track and doing great. She is 26 pounds and about 34 inches. ahh growing up. Then Molly is at 14 pounds and I believe 24 inches. I have a hard time keeping up now. I know bad bad mommy! I really try! I do!

Well I think that is good for now and hopefully I can blog again before I forget where I blog again! haha

Catchin up!

So I haven't blogged in forever and a day. But I have been itching to get back at it since Elly was a baby.

This is really for me to remember things. I will start with my precious Emma-Leigh.

Emmy is about to turn 4. I can not believe it. Where has the time gone? She amazes me everyday. She is so smart, kind, eager to learn. She loves puzzles and oh so good at it too. She is still the same little girl who loves playing with her baby dolls. She is the best biggest sister anyone could ask for. She is patient most of the time. She teaches her little sisters things she has no idea that she is teaching. It breaks my heart that my baby is growing up sooo much and oh so fast! I now know what my mom meant when she said "You'll always be my baby" Emma-Leigh and I are planning her 4th birthday. A tea party at that. She is super excited and so am I!! I love how girly she is. She is just like me I guess!! lol She told me just exactly who she wanted and was very serious! haha She has a mind of her own now! I will post about her party when it comes... ah just a couple more weeks!

My little Elly just turned 2!!! AHHH I can not believe it one bit. She loves balloons so we had a balloon party. Man oh man can I just say my fingers still hurt from all those balloons! haha She had a wonderful day. She still talks about all the balloons everywhere. Who came and played with her. She is having a hard time that Emma-Leigh is having a birthday now. She doesn't like that her birthday is over! haha Love that girl. She sure is getting up there in her lil self. She is learning to count and she is really good at her colors. She loves to play legos and hide/seek. My favorite is when she hides and I hear the squealing giggly lil voice. Ah melts me every time.

My little Molly girl. I keep feeling like she is only a month old. I guess I have to come to terms that she will be 6 months in just a few days. Why oh why do they grow so fast?!?!?! She is just the smiliest happiest little girl EVER!!!! I can not believe how much she smiles. Even when she cries... oh no another momma girl! Talk about mommas girl. She definitely is a mommy girl. She hates when I leave the room. Even if she can see me I am not allowed out of the same room. Unless she is happy go lucky playing. She does great rolling over every which way. She holds her bottle and is really getting good at sitting up. No teeth yet. She loves her cereal and I think we will be moving onto big girl foods here next week! eek! I am so not ready like I was with Emmy! She was eating everything by 6 months. I know my lil girl is being deprived! lol

Today we celebrated thanksgiving. Allen and Anthea did a wonderful job and everything was ooooh so yummy! We are sad next year they won't be here. Christmas is coming up soo fast! I am so excited. I think it is because the girls love love love all the lights and santa! ooh my! We had breakfast with Mrs. Claus and Santa joined later! Sooo exciting! The girls got some balloon animals. They did a little scavenger hunt around the mall at some stores. They were in heaven when they were able to see and talk to Santa! Now this is what I call happiness! I love seeing the looks on their faces as they do different thing. See different things and above all. BELIEVE!!! I could cry with how excited they make me with all the things to do.

Well I guess this will have to end for now. I will have to get back into the grove and do this more often! =)
